I welcome you to participate in Open and Distance Learning, an emerging innovative and flexible approach to teaching. It offers a variety of opportunities for you to access Moi University programmes from any place any time and at a pace of your own.

Open and Distance learning (ODL) is now fast becoming a preferred mode of study as it has several advantages including flexibility in choice of programmes and courses especially with regard to what, where and when to take the study. In addition, a learner can study while undertaking other responsibilities at the same time. It is in recognition of these advantages and the potentials of Distance Education that the Directorate of Open and Distance Learning (DODL) was established at Moi University in November, 2007. Currently located on the administration block of RIVATEX East Africa LTD, a Moi University Facility in Eldoret town. The Directorate is mandated to co-ordinate all ODL programmes of the University.
