Master of Business Administration is an executive degree programme offered to the business executives who would like to further their professional and personal development horizons in business profession. The programme offers an ideal setting for exchange of ideas and experiences among students and between students and faculty staff. It is designed for those in business employment and practices but holding bachelors degree or equivalent in other specialization other than business studies. Because of their qualifications and experience in business management practices the students are expected to complete the programme in one calendar year.

The objectives of the programme are:

1. To provide knowledge in Business Management.
   
2. To enrich their business careers by widening their horizon of the business world.
   
3. To enhance the productivity of practicing managers through sharper training in their areas of interest.
   
   

In addition to having a relevant working experience of at least five years, the candidate must be a holder of either:

1. A degree in any discipline from a recognized university
2. CPA/CPS or its equivalent or
3. Higher National Diploma in Business Studies
   
   

The programme will run for three semesters of taught courses and project writing.

The Moi University regulations governing postgraduate examinations shall apply. In addition to this Moi University regulation governing the assessment of the postgraduate diploma projects will also apply in the assessment of the projects under the programme.
