DURATION OF PROGRAMMES IN THE SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING
The Bachelor of Technology programmes runs for five academic years (10 semesters). Between the academic years, the following courses are being offered: Workshop Practice (12 weeks), guided Industrial Attachment I (12 weeks), and Industrial Attachment II (12 weeks).
The postgraduate diploma in computer science programme shall run for one academic year that is divided into two semesters. It shall consist of a minimum of 24 units of coursework and 5 units of project. Candidates may take more elective courses in either semester and shall choose elective courses and topics for their projects in consultation with staff of the department. All candidates are required to participate in the seminar arranged by the department.

The duration of M.Phil Programmes shall normally be two years.
The duration of D.Phil programmes shall normally be three years.
The proficiency certificate course will be for a period of 12 weeks.
The Diploma in Computer Engineering is covered in six academic semesters. This includes a sixteen-week industrial attachment.
Common University examination regulations shall apply.
