BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN AGRO-FORESTRY

 

DURATION OF THE PROGRAMME

 

The undergraduate programme runs for four academic years.  In addition to the normal semesters, there will be field attachment (practicum) at the end of the 3rd year of study.

 

  1.    The University Common Examination regulations shall apply.

  2.    Admission to Examination will depend on satisfactory attendance of the prescribed courses as per Senate regulations.

 

A panel of at least 3 examiners will evaluate the oral presentation based on the following criteria: timing, organisation, delivery, quality of visual aids and mastery of the subject area as indicated by answers to examiners’ questions (30 %).  A typed final report must be ready by the end of the final year for grading by at least two examiners as follows: abstract (5%), justification (10%), literature review (5%), materials and methods (15%), results (15%), discussion and conclusions (15%), literature citation (5%).
