MASTER OF PHILOSOPHY IN WOOD SCIENCE AND INDUSTRIAL PROCESSING INTRODUCTION
The Department of Wood Science & Technology offers FULL TIME M. Phil Degree by course work and research in the following five specialization areas:
A Wood Composites B Wood Biodeterioration C Wood Preservation D Pulp and Paper Science E Sawmilling F Wood Mechanics and Timber Engineering G Bioenergy
This Degree Programme aims at training Graduates who intend to join the Wood Industries, engage in Research and Training in Institutions of Higher Learning, and for those who intend to pursue their training further.
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME
The main goal of the Degree Programme is to produce trained Personnel who will meet the needs of Industry, Research and Training Institutions in their areas of specialization.
