MASTER OF PHILOSOPHY IN WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT

 
Admission requirements

 

The common regulations for the Master’s degree in Moi University shall apply.

 

Programme duration and graduation requirements

 

The programme takes 2 years of full time studies.All M.Phil studies will take three required core courses in the Department of Wildlife Management: WLM 800: Research Methods; WLM 801: Advanced Biostatiatics, and WLM 802:  Graduate Seminar.  In addition each student will select three elective wildlife courses, (WLM 803 TO 810).  The student shall also be required to take 3-4 elective courses, (amounting to 9-12 units) outside the Department of Wildlife Management.  These courses will be from the School of Environment Studies and from the Department of Botany and Zoology and other departments as approved by the Departmental Graduate School Committee (DGSC) of the Department.
