MASTER OF PHILOSOPHY IN WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT Intoduction
The goal of the Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) programme in Wildlife Management is to provide training and experience in research, planning and design methods, experimentation and scientific writing. The graduate programme builds upon a solid, basic undergraduate programme. The focus of the programme is on problem-solving approaches, the synthesis of basic ecological concepts, and the development of inquisitive intuitive thinking capabilities.
General Objectives
To produce graduates who are specialists in wildlife management profession.
Specific Objectives
§ To train students to acquire advanced management skills which relate to human-wildlife conflicts. § To impart advanced knowledge on development of scientific tools and technologies as a basis for wildlife management
