MAIN ADMINISTRATION AND SENATE BUILDING

This is the office of the Chief Executive Officer of the institution and oversees all Administrative and Academic matters, Public Relations, Internal Auditing, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Anti-Corruption and Guidance; and Security and Safety functions. For the sake of efficiency, these functions have been divided into five operational units, with the aim of achieving the overall University business functions.

Public Relations
The Public Relations Office is mandated to protect and continuously improve the University image and ensure harmonious interaction of employees and the public besides ensuring a smooth and accurate flow of information.

Internal Audit
The Internal Audit reviews, monitors and recommends for the improvement of accounting and control systems; examines and evaluates financial information, reviews the economy, efficiency and effectiveness of operations, review compliance with rules and regulations; reviews the authorization of transactions and also investigations.

Security and Safety
The Security and Safety section is vested with the responsibility of ensuring that the University operations are performed in a safe and secure environment. These include the protection of lives of students, staff and visitors as well as their property.

Anti-Corruption and Guidance
Anti-Corruption and Guidance as a section is one of the sections under the VC's office.
Anti-Corruption section has placed various suggestion boxes in main campus and all other campuses. These boxes are opened every end of the month under the Anti-Corruption sub-committee chairman Prof. S. Gudu assisted by the Moi University Integrity Officer Mr. Kashorda.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
The Information and Communication Technology section is responsible for all ICT planning, connectivity and maintenance in the entire University. It is also responsible for ICT systems administration, database design and management, Information systems management, web maintenance, internet and e-mail administration, end-user support and ICTtraining.
