ABOUT MRS. RACHEL L. KAREI - GEP COMMITTEE MEMBER |
Mrs. Rachel L. Karei - GEP Member
Mrs. Rachel L. Karei (B.Sc, M.Ed.), is a member of the Gender Equity Project team of Moi University. She is also a lecturer in the Department of Family and Consumer Science where she teaches courses such as: Research Methods, Family life Education, Human Sexuality, Clothing Construction and Child Health Education. She has previously served as Head of Department 1997-2002 and in 2007/2008 in the Family and Consumer Science Department. She is a member of Kenya Association of Educational Administration Management (KAEAM) an affiliate of the Commonwealth Council of Educational Administration and Management (CCEAM).
Research interests: Girl child Issues, Human Sexuality and Violence Against Women.
