Moi University Eldoret West Campus is located at the Kenya Ports Authority site 3 kilometers of Eldoret Town on Kitale Road.
Currently the campus has a student population of 4,000. Most students that study at this campus are mainly Privately Sponsored. The programmes are offered by the School of Business and Economics; and School of Education.
The School of Business and Economics offers the following courses:
- Bachelor of Business Management (BBM)
- Bachelor of Hotel and Hospitality Management
- Bachelor of Tours and Travel and
- Master of Business administration (MBA) Executive
The School of Education offers the programmes indicated below:
- Bachelor of Education (Arts)
- Bachelor of Education (Science)
- Bachelor of Education (Technology)
- Bachelor of Education (Home Science)
- Bachelor of Education Guidance and Counseling) and
- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary Education)
The Library has a sitting capacity of 300 students. Currently the library has 3,000 volumes and approximately 60 journal titles. The Library is in the process of acquiring 33 computers.
The services offered include lending of library materials e.g. books, journals, magazines, newspapers and reference services. The library has a special collection area for rare materials and materials for research.
