The Dean of Students office co-ordinates all students' welfare matters on campus. The Students Affairs office is under the general guidance of the Chief Academic Officer.

The office of the Dean of Students is situated at main Campus. It is primarily concerned with students' welfare from the time they enter into University until the time they graduate. It also co-ordinates all the activities that affect Students Welfare, Guidance and counseling, Career Placement and Sports. In addition, it handles all matters related to Moi University Students' Organization (MUSO), Wardenship, Student Conduct and Discipline.

It cooperates with the general public on matters affecting individuals or group of students and acts as the link between the University administration and students. Religious needs of students are catered for through the University Chaplaincy.
