MOI UNIUVERSITY 2nd ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCEThe Moi University 2nd Annual International Conference was held at Moi university, Main Campus between Tuesday 29th August 2006 and Friday 1st September 2006. The Conference was officially opened by the Minister for Science and technology and Ag. Minister for Education Dr. Noah Wekesa who was represented in the Conference by Prof. George Godia (Education Secretary in the ministry of Education) on Wednesday 30th August 2006 and was officially closed by the Minister of Trade and Industry Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi on Friday 1st September 2006. The General Theme of the Conference was: "Science and Socio-Economics for Sustainable Development: Challenges and Opportunities in the 21st Century". The Participating schools included: School of Business and Economics, School of Arts and Social Sciences, School of Science, School of Public Health and School of Medicine.
