Ms. Beverlyne K. Ndombi recently reflected on her inspiring journey that began at a Moi University event where she first learned about the Huawei ICT Competition. Her passion for technology and commitment to excellence led her to earn the HCIA-AI certification through the Safaricom Women in Technology (WIT) and Huawei AI Bootcamp.

As the team leader, Ms. Ndombi played a pivotal role in guiding her team to the Cloud Track Regional Finals. Ms. Ndombi alongside her colleague, Ms. Ifrah A. Hussein, both from Moi University, proudly represented Kenya and Moi University at the Huawei ICT Competition Regional Award Ceremony held in South Africa. The prestigious event celebrated top-performing students from eighteen (18) Southern African countries.

Ms. Ndombi was recognized for her outstanding leadership and significant contributions to her team’s success, marking a proud moment for both her and Moi University.
