The Moi University Academic staff from the School of Education, on 18th - 31st May 2025, participated in a staff mobility programme at Trnava University, Slovakia, under the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme.
The University was represented by:

- Dr. Josephine Musamas, Chair, Department of Curriculum, Instruction & Educational Media
The programme provided opportunities for professional growth, international exposure and benchmarking of best practices in education. The staff took part in diverse academic and experiential activities, including:
- Training of undergraduate students
- Workshops on teacher education and broader education programmes
- Benchmarking visits to a state-funded Early Childhood kindergarten, primary, and secondary schools
- Exposure to inclusive education practices across institutions
- Observations on Technology Enhanced Learning
- Cultural exchange experiences supporting internationalization
- Networking and international collaborations
The visit was marked by the invaluable support of Trnava University. Moi University expresses its appreciation to the Moi University Management Board (MUMB) for facilitating this opportunity. The lessons and best practices gained will be disseminated within the School of Education to strengthen teaching, learning, and research programmes.
