Moi University convened a two-day Policy Dialogue that began on October 2nd and ends on October 3rd, 2025, at the Noble Hotel, Eldoret, under the theme “Bridging the Gap Between Research and Policy for Sustainable Development.”
The event brought together students, faculty and industry practitioners to co-create solutions that connect academic research with real-world challenges. Its core objective was to identify pressing industry and community problems that can be translated into research projects—empowering students to generate evidence-based solutions with practical impact.
The Policy Dialogue also highlighted the University’s commitment to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which emphasize inclusive growth, environmental sustainability and economic resilience. By fostering stronger linkages between academia, industry and policymakers, Moi University continues to strengthen its role as a hub for innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable development in Kenya and the region.
