Change Management Training kicks off

change management trainingMoi University as one of the strategies to make it a University of Choice is in the process of automating its systems through the implementation of the newly acquired Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for improved efficiency and service delivery. It is therefore important that the staff undergo crucial change management training in embracing the ERP system. The training scheduled to run from 11th March to 15th March 2019 at the College of Health Sciences (CHS) – PDN Building. The trainer is the renowned Prof. Mohammed Nura from the Kenya School of Government (KSG). The training was officially opened by Prof. Daniel K. Tarus the Ag. Deputy Vice-Chancellor- Finance.
The ERP system will capture:
a) Academics and Student Management: Admission, Registration, Academic and Examinations
b) Integrated Finance: GL, IGA, Fixed Assets, Payables, Receivables, Imprest Management, Cash Office, Part-timers, Bank reconciliation, Budgets
c) Accommodation: Room allocations and accommodation fee collection
d) Student Portal: Online Course Registration, View Exam results
e) Timetabling: Teaching and Examination Timetabling
f) Procurement and Stores
g) Human Resources: Personnel management
h) SMS: Bulk sms and automatic sms alerts
i) Library management: Circulation, Cataloguing, Administration, Patrons management etc.
