Prof. Isaac Sanga Kosgey, Vice-Chancellor on Friday 2nd October, 2020 presided over the opening and handing over of classrooms and an administration block at St. Paul’s Kibisi Primary School in Webuye East, Bungoma County. The construction was made possible through a grant of Kes. 8.5 Million, Moi University - AMPATH from Boehringer Ingelheim (Germany).
Additionally, there was a Kes. 500,000 grant to two farmer cooperatives to renovate their warehouses for storage of grains. The University donated PPEs, sanitizers and face masks. Prof. Kosgey who was accompanied University Management Board visited the Moi University-Webuye Research Lab at the Webuye County Hospital. Present during the Handing over was H.E. Wycliffe Wafula Wangamati, Governor of Bungoma County, Local Leaders of the County, Prof. Sylvester Kimaiyo AMPATH Executive Director, Care/COP, Dr. Jeremiah Laktabai co-lead the Population Health Department of AMPATH among others.
