The African Christian Initiation Programme (ACIP), is a community participatory programme of the Eldoret-based Gender and Development Network (Eldo-GADNet). Eldo-GADNet is an inter-denominational, inter-disciplinary and inter-ethnic initiative.

 

The following are the founder members of ACIP, all of whom initially worked in the then School of Social, Cultural and Development Studies at Moi University: Prof. Eunice Kamaara, Prof. Mary Wahome, Ms. PAmela Abuya, Prof. Emily Choge Kerama, Dr. Joyce Nyairo, the late Prof. Naomi Luchera Shitemi.

TWCF funded TECF 0151, a Moi University a project. TECF 0151 assessed African Christian Initiation Programme (ACIP), which is an extension activity of the department of Philosophy and religion at Moi University's School of Arts & Social Sciences that is coordinated by Prof. Eunice Kamaara.
